Bio

Sim is an Artistic Director at Merluza Hair & Beauty with more than 40 years of professional experience. She specialises in precision cutting, blow drying and colour correction, and is known as an all-rounder who works confidently across both hairdressing and barbering.

Her passion is transformation. Sim particularly enjoys the work that takes a client from colour through to cut, planning the two together so the finished result is a genuine change of look rather than a trim and a tint.

More information

Four decades of experience means very little walks through the door that Sim has not seen before. Precision cutting is at the heart of what she does, building shapes that sit correctly on the day and grow out cleanly, tailored to your hair type, texture and how much time you realistically want to spend styling at home.

Colour correction is the other side of her work. Whether a home colour has gone wrong, a previous salon result has faded unevenly, or years of build-up need unpicking, Sim takes a careful, consultation-led approach and explains what can be achieved in one visit and what is better staged over time to protect the condition of your hair.

She is also an expert blow-dry finisher and, thanks to her barbering background, works with both men and women, from sharp gents cuts through to full restyles and colour transformations.

Working Wednesday through Saturday, Sim is a trusted choice for clients across Hall Green, Shirley, Solihull, Moseley and the wider Birmingham area who want the reassurance of real experience.
